Below is the list of links to the documents addressing environmental intolerances such as multiple chemical sensitivity, environmental illness, chronic fatigue syndrome, Gulf War Syndrome, and related conditions, issued by the government agencies in the U.S. and abroad. Report by the CFS/ME working group to the Chief Medical Officer of Department of Health (United Kingdom). Addresses chronic fatigue syndrome and makes policy recommendations.

Veterans Education and Benefits Expansion Act of 2001 - expands definition of compensable illnesses to include "poorly defined multisymptom illnesses." If the link doesn't work, please go to Thomas and search for H.R. 1291.

"Indoor Pollution: Status of Federal Research Activities" - a report on the status of federal activities on Indoor Air Quality research from the General Accounting Office identifies EI/MCS as one area where more research is needed.

National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research mentioned environmental illnesses in its Long-Range plan as one of potentially emerging disabilities. (Go to Chapter 4, and scroll to "Research on Emerging Disabilities").

National Center for Environmental Health, a branch of Center for Disease Control, offers a booklet titled "The Health Impact of Chemical Exposures During the Gulf War". Contact NCEH for a copy of the booklet.
